ABOUT THE OWNER
Frank Favetta is a professional audio engineer and music producer. Starting at a young age, he has been fortunate enough to work and learn from some of the biggest names in the music industry.
As a musician Frank has always had a passion for music. He began his career by attending Full Sail University, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Recording Arts while also receiving a Course Director’s Award. At Full Sail, Frank has had the privilege to study under many great producers and engineers such as “Jules Gondar” (Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Ricky Martin, Carrie Underwood), “Darren Schneider” (Britney Spears, Deep Purple, Backstreet Boys, Snow Patrol), and “Tom Todia” (Sony, Electronic Arts).
As a student, Frank began working with classmate and producer Sketch Ellis (Miss Crazy, Goldy Rox, Uppercased). Together, they recorded country singer Jackson Lawrence’s newest album “Trailer Parks and Pawn Shop Guitars”. The album, featuring songs “My Forever”, “The Other Line” and “Heartache”, immediately caught the attention of Universal Music Group, signing the band with EMI Records. Frank was also given the opportunity to attend the 54th Annual Grammy Awards with the band in 2012.
After Full Sail, Frank returned to South, FL working for Bongiovi Entertainment, where he recorded at both Avalon and Power Station Recording Studios. Frank began honing his skills even further, receiving one-on-one training from legendary producer/engineer Tony Bongiovi, as well as audio engineer Ryan Copt. Frank has even had the privilege to work together with motion picture director/editor Michael Hoffman Jr., assisting and producing several music videos with the company.
In 2014, Frank received an offer to work with engineer Hart Gunther and his team at South Beach Studios in Miami Beach, FL. He began working at South Beach where he met three-time Grammy-Award winning engineer Tom Lord-Alge and quickly became his assistant engineer at the studio. Frank has worked with countless artists including David Guetta, Nicky Romero, Jamie Foxx, Korn, Weezer, and many more.
Frank continues his music career and has founded his own studio, Ocean Avenue Studios LLC, where his vision and passion for music continues to thrive among all talents.
